The procedure will only take 25-45 minutes, depending on how impacted the tooth is. We simply create a small incision through the gummy tissue to expose the crown of the tooth, including any surrounding tissue as well. Any bone tissue obstructing the pathway of the tooth will be removed if necessary.
After the tooth is exposed through your gum, a small bracket is then attached to the tooth, like braces, and it will easily naturally erupt into proper alignment with the rest of the arch of teeth. The tooth eruption process should take about two to four months.
Post Procedure Aftercare
